the qualities attributed to each of signs don’t express so easily or effortlessly by the person as we would believe. just because libra is the sign of peace, it doesn’t mean they don’t know war.  because they ‘have’, they also ‘have not’, and certain themes we associate with signs are undeveloped and maturing in the person, often relating to the unique challenges and requirements of the archetype.

-Aries has to win, to get there first – but they begin far behind the starting line and learn on the run for the sake of survival, trying anything to get somewhere. they are always moving at rapid speed, hurling toward the next adventure. but this is because they have no other place to go, if they stop for a moment that there is nothing holding them down, and rarely fond memories or experiences to return to, they cannot look back because nothing is there, and this can be the most frightening concept they secretly harbour 

-Taurus is the automated dance of the physical body to replenish earth in a seasonal cycle of creativity. taurus has the artistic eye, and a taste for the sweet and spice of life. their expression of working on their product can be a trance of autopilot inspired productivity. but this doesn’t always come so easy, taurus is tired and lazy, they look rich while living poor, sometimes the empty page is just too daunting, they are not in the mood, it’s not the right time… whatever they tell themselves. it may seem like taurus had everything easy, but they don’t know anything that didn’t accompany work.

-Gemini is attributed to quantity of mind, education, and the messenger service. but how can one teach what they don’t yet know? they are usually found in the role of the teacher with the inquisition, structural deficit, and lacking experience of the student, they can feel pressured to speak and communicate with clarity despite the chaos and gaps that appear and disappear in the mind, they appear as experts at many subjects and naturally educate the people around them with their new fascinations. enlightening company comes with an underlying desire  to hear what they have to say, because there are so many voices inside, and they can’t remember ever learning anything. but they speak and repeat and speak and repeat what they have learned because they don’t know what they know until it is said out loud 

-Cancer relates to domestic comfort and belonging, maternal energy and devotion, the tribe and the family. but cancer is rarely gifted with the ease of the domestic life and familial dynamics they so desire for, and they are often forced to fight for and to maintain things other people seem to get so easily – like a lover they can depend on, a child at will, or that perfect little apartment home, desires that seem so simple compared to what other people seem to ask for and receive. family can be a cancers greatest source of distress, discomfort, and depressions, but they try to keep the faith that someday the love will come 

-Leo is the heroine, the leader and the redeemer, the star and the sovereign, the noble defender, but the inner child inside leo never really feels safe, heard, and with mother. so they want to save the world and cast out every ounce of darkness and cruelty in the hope that one of many innocent, vulnerable, and victims that have been forgotten they protect and redeem along the way is their own inner child. leo is also the archetype of the performer and songstress, the temptress catching the heart of her audience from the stage, but leo is never made aware of when the show has stopped, so they become captive to the lustful, possessive, carnal darkness and desires of their audience. beneath the spotlight glare, everybody has taken a piece for themselves, claiming ownership and entitlement, and leo has been ripped apart until there is nothing left

-Virgo virgo is the archetype of the service on behalf of the feminine healers, the nurse and the mother staying awake for days with her sick child, the caregiver for physiological and psychological troubles. but virgo can be more broken than any of the people they put back together so perfectly, and of all the people who need their tender touch, wise counsel, and compassion, there is nobody so fractured that needs to be cared for, loved, and stitched together as much as they do, they cannot or refuse to see their own reflection in the pain, the broken minds, and innocence in the people they so intrinsically reach out to heal, they can repair everything but themselves

-Libra ibra is the symbol of peace, love, and togetherness…but those aren’t certainties for libra, and relationships tend to provoke the greatest conflicts and uncertainty, there is always a war threatening to detonate the relationship, and because libra has loved they have also lost so, a heart that can move so beautifully can also be horribly turned and squeezed to death by the wrong hands. these righteous and interpersonal qualities also define libra as the sign of righteous judgement, discrimination, and morality. but libra can rarely acquire the same vindication and sense of self-respect for themselves as they do so naturally for others. injustices against them reoccur because there they are – in the midst of exploitation, cruelty, prejudice or whatever and there is nobody present to demand justice for them. 

-Scorpio is secrets, intimate bonds and the unity of souls, the lonesome child who accepted being alone but was never truly okay with being ‘lonely’, the healer who is more wounded than any of her subjects. scorpio take a solitary path because their transformations are powerful enough to measure on the soul evolutionary cycle, and they cannot be subject to outside influences to decode their mystic blueprint. but how can they form these immense, eternal human connections if they are never present to truly connect with anyone. scorpio is the sign of transformation, but they can resist this more than any other because they already own the wisdom that knows the person they are now will never really come back

-Sagittarius is attributed the qualities of natural joy, luck, and optimism. this is the problem – it’s too much to live up to. nobody can be happy all the time, and trying to be happy or elevate the mood back to such an ideal state that misery is everywhere they look. reality never matches the plan and when they want to celebrate the rain starts again. their lucky breaks do not last long, because favour must accompany an equal misfortune, like the cursed 3 wishes. but many sagittarius people stopped believing in making wishes as young children

-Capricorn just because a capricorn doesn’t complain about their work or proclaim their dissatisfaction it doesn’t mean they like showing up any more than anybody else. unless they are one of those people who are fortunate enough to follow their bliss, work comes with no greater ease, certainty, or promised promotions just because they are born capricorn. some of the benefit involved with work can be avoiding or missing familial drama, dynamics at home, or events they’d rather not attend. but a lot of the professional strain and pressure of expectation comes from their own desire to finally reach the standard that measures highly enough to like or love themselves

-Aquarius is the sign of the social heroine and rebel, the original cosmic blue print design like no other, a vibe that reminds you of nobody. but aquarius is also ruled by saturn, and the pressure to be regarded with intellect, street smarts, experience, and coherency can have a tendency to push these inner maverick personalities aside, fearing that their vast inquisition, unusual theories, and wonderful ideals will result in people disregarding their intellect and doubting their validity and sanity, do they want to be authentic and true to themselves? or is the need to form close connections and communities enough to contort themselves enough to conform, how can you truly connect to people if you are wandering alone and delirious, incapable of relating to anyone else at all

-Pisces is the sign of the healer, the dreamer, the empath, the redeemer, the inspired artist and awakened dreamer. but they are often more wounded and fractured than any of their subjects, and they guide others through the emotional, psychological, and psychic sea storms because they have never known a calm ocean or a life without a deluge of delirium, confusion, and the despair, guilt, and pain that people cannot live with in themselves, it has to go somewhere – and pisces is the only one left. pisces remembers the songs of heaven, and the unformed visions, photos, poetry, or whatever materialise through their intense emotional ascents and descents, but then it’s very troubling and challenging to stay awake, culminate these visions and create when their mood refuses to let them move
