On a stormy night in June 1942, a squad of American soldiers found themselves hopelessly lost in a dense European forest.

As they wandered through the shadowy trees, their boots sinking into the thick mud, the terrified soldiers had a growing, ominous, feeling that they weren’t alone.

Suspecting a Nazi ambush, the men huddled down at the edge of a clearing to listen for movement. As their eyes made a futile attempt to scan their pitch-black surrounding, the creature launched its attack!

Two men were torn to shreds, their screams echoing into the night, before the monster succumbed to the hail of desperate gunfire.

Now, 76 years later, the skeleton of the beast has been articulated for the first time! It was the first recorded death of an American soldier by werewolf, but it would not be the last.
